Providing awe-inspiring views of comets, star clusters, the Moon, and many other celestial subjects, the Vixen Optics BT-81S-A Astronomical Binocular and Berlebach Tripod provides users with a complete observational rig for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing. Its large 81mm aperture and 480mm focal length make this a powerful optic, and with twin 1.25" eyepiece holders, you can use any telescope eyepieces to tailor the magnification to the specific demands you put on it. To get you observing right out of the box, Vixen gives you two 20mm SLV-series eyepieces which yield 24x magnification. Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics and achromatic lens system ensures bright and clear high-contrast images with rich color rendition.
The binoculars mount on the included head that is capable of tilting 180° forward and back so it's ideal for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing, especially if the binocular is set on a balcony, and you're looking down at a boat or bird. The included tripod is produced by Berlebach in Germany and made of solid ash wood, with a matching tray that not only keeps small accessories safe but locks the legs at a 23° angle for increased stabilization and vibration reduction. The legs lock into multiple angles to accommodate uneven terrain, and the leg height is adjustable for comfortable use by a wide range of users. This tripod not only offers a rock-steady observational base for a wide range of users, it also presents a refined and elegant look.

StarGuy Tripod with 2-Way Tilt Head
The StarGuy Tripod with 2-Way Tilt Head from Vixen Optics is composed of Berlebach Tripod Report 212 and 2-Way Tilt Head.
The Tripod Report 212 has a load capacity of 44.1lb and has adjustable leg spread at angle of about 20°, 40°, 60°, 80° and 100°. It features a mounting head with 1/4"-20 standard spring-mounted fastening screw. The deposit tray is included and the practical tray for small items fits between the tripod legs to provide additional stability. It provides vibration damping.
The 2-Way Tilt Head comes integrated with quick release-coupling and can be quickly mounted to 90° offset using the added hexagon socket wrench. In this way, you can use this head as 3-way tilt head without limitation by means of an elbow that is attached to the camera. You can lock both planes thanks to the mechanical system via one sole clamping element. The friction adjustment for the vertical tilt is made via an adjusting wheel opposite to the clamping element. The guide handle is mountable for both right and left handed persons. Besides capturing images, this tilt head is particularly suitable for observations with a spotting scope or with binoculars.
