Ideal for visual observation, as well as both digital and film astrophotography applications, under light-polluted skies, this filter features a wider transmission curve than a UHC filter and helps to brighten the appearance of stars and other phenomena by reducing light pollution wavelengths. The filter is polished and coated on both sides of the Schott glass substrate in order to maintain optical clarity and reduce surface reflections.
