My results were not good

I had an issue where two of the three stands that I purchased became unusable. After two uses I noticed that the pole section had some indentations on various points. These indentations caused the pole not to extend or retract without some force. I’m assuming it’s the tightening mechanism that’s causing these dents. I contacted Kupo regarding a warranty repair and after some initial resistance Kupo said that they’re going to replace them. I’m not sure if I’m over tightening it or it’s just the design. I have a more budget friendly light stand by Impact and it’s a Tank. I’ll update if my experience changes.

I bought two.� Also have two of the mini stands as well.� Air cushioning works well.� I like the way they click together for storage or transportation.

I have one complaint and ten thousand praises. (The complaint is that Kupo used a really lousy phillips-head screw for adjusting the tension of the leg-adjust clamp. I took it off, went to Ace Hardware and got a 3mm hex head replacement.) The praises are many! Lightweight, sturdy, smooth. Great height. Clipping together is a novelty, but it's not the reason to buy this stand. I can clip them together with the flashes still attached (though it will depend on your flash mount's bulk), but not with the external battery packs clamped on the stand too. It's really just an good stand (I've owned soooo many over the last six or seven years). I didn't think I could love anything but a solid steel stand, but Kupo knows their stuff.

Kupo makes excellent grip equipment at a fraction of the price of other popular manufacturers. The Click stands are a fairly new product and improve on the original stackable light stand design by manfrotto by allowing you to stack them vertically or horizontally to match whatever your storage or travel requirements call for. You can attach a strap to make them easier to carry (not included, but any strap or even a piece of rope would work) My only wish would be that they made a 10'+ version of these stands.

Lightweight stand for light flashes

The click mechanism works, and is very convenient. I like how it can connect in two directions. I'm using a pair of them with Einsteins, and they're borderline for being heavy enough for them. The leg locking mechanism doesn't let you set an arbitrary leg spread, because enough weight will push the legs apart to the maximum spread. I used it with a beauty dish today, though I don't think I'd put a large octabox on it. This should be perfect for speedlights or compact flashes, but for full size studio lights, especially with heavy or bulky modifiers, you may want to consider something heavier duty.

So far so good. I can see a few advantages to the stacking design with respects to storage and transporting. I love that it's easy to attach a strap to. That has already come in handy.
