The VS-5B Beltpack Wireless Violin Microphone System from AMT includes the VS Violin, Viola, and Mandolin Microphone, and Wi5IIB Belt-Pack Wireless System. The VS is a miniature cardioid, condenser microphone designed for use with violin, viola, and mandolin. The entire microphone and mounting mechanism is designed to clamp securely to the body of the instrument without damage to its finish. The element itself is attached to a flexible gooseneck, allowing easy positioning at the sound board. The cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes off-axis audio that causes noise and feedback. An external beltpack provides the output stage and power supply for the microphone. The beltpack also provides variable impedance for line level output and standard a XLR output connector. The VS is powered with external 11 to 52 VDC phantom power or 9V battery.

The AMT Wi5IIB Belt-pack Wireless System is suitable for any player looking for a multi-channel belt pack wireless system. It clips to a belt and creates a belt-pack free-playing experience. It allows roaming the stage without being connected to wires and creates the freedom to move. The Wi5IIB System includes a Wireless Belt-Pack Transmitter, a ZRIII Multi-Channel Dual Receiver, cable for connections to AMT microphones, and a case. It features volume control, as well as the standard Wi5II mute button. The ZRIII Multi-Channel Dual Receiver is a 99-channel capable receiver that will allow two microphone/transmitter setups to be used with one receiver. It includes two separate outputs on the back panel for complete control over each microphone/transmitter channel.
