The 24" Inspiron 24 7000 Multi-Touch All-in-One Desktop Computer from Dell is an all-in-one system designed to offer dynamic performance. The system is powered by a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-6300HQ Quad-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. The processor also features a burst speed of up to 3.2 GHz and the built-in 12GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM has a DIMM form factor and allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. The 24" Full HD TrueLife IPS WVA multi-touch display has a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and its touchscreen capabilities integrate with the multi-touch capabilities built into Windows 10. The system's display is powered by a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics card and 4GB of GDDR3 RAM and you can output video to an external display using the HDMI-out port, as well as accept video from other sources using the HDMI-in port

For long term storage of your files, the Inspiron 24 7000 has both a 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive and a 32GB mSATA SSD. While the SSD does not have the larger capacity of the 1TB hard drive, it contains no moving parts and is able to operate with faster data transfer speeds. Having no moving parts also helps the SSD will be better-protected against damage from drops and bumps and the drive will also receive less wear and tear, as there are no read or write heads for the drive media to come into contact with.

If you want to add external storage drives, external optical drives, media card readers, or other external peripherals, the Inspiron 24 7000 features 4 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. The system also has a 4-in-1 SD & MMC media card reader, Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, an Intel RealSense webcam, an integrated mic, and integrated speakers with Waves MaxxAudio.

So you can get started right out of the box, a wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, and a power cord are included. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Home (64-bit).

Intel Real Sense Camera
The Intel RealSense Camera uses depth-sensing technology so your PC sees more like you do. Use the added dimension to scan 3D objects, control your PC with gestures, or create a more lifelike video chat environment. Reinvented video chat lets you customize your background, and share content with friends as if you're in the same room together.

  • The Intel RealSense Camera senses depth, so you're able to remove your chat background altogether, or swap in a replacement
  • The Intel RealSense Camera lets you interact with your device more like you interact with people - with natural movements and 22 tracking points per hand
  • Intel RealSense technology makes 3D scanning a reality right from your device, so you can scan and save a piece of art, a flower, a toy - even your own face. You're able to save your scan as-is, or manipulate it into something new. Then share it digitally, or print a version with the use of a 3D printer
  • Devices with an Intel RealSense Camera have three lenses: a conventional camera, an infrared camera, and an infrared laser projector. Together, the three lenses allow the device to infer depth by detecting infrared light that has bounced back from objects in front of it. This visual data, taken in combination with Intel RealSense motion-tracking software, creates a touch-free interface that responds to hand, arm, and head motions as well as facial expressions
  • Windows Hello
Windows Hello is a more personal way to sign in to your Windows 10 devices with just a look or a touch. You'll get enterprise-grade security without having to type in a password.
    SuperMulti DVD Burner
Read and write support for optical CD and DVD media
    Ethernet & 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
The Inspiron 24 7000 features an Ethernet port for Internet access when connected to a router, modem, or network switch. 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi is also built-in for connecting wirelessly
    Bluetooth 4.0
Bluetooth-compatible peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, and headsets, may be paired to this system using Bluetooth 4.0 technology
    HDMI-in & HDMI-out Ports
With an HDMI-out port, you can output video from this all-in-one desktop computer to a larger external HD display. Using the HDMI-in port, the Inspiron 24 7000 can display video from external sources
    USB 3.0 and USB 2.0
The Inspiron 24 7000 features 4 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. At 5 Gb/s, USB 3.0 transfers data up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, which operates at 480 Mb/s. USB 3.0's high-speed transfer rate helps to reduce data transfer times
4-in-1 SD & MMC Media Card Reader
The Inspiron 24 7000 features a built-in 4-in-1 media card reader that supports SD, SDHC, SDXC, and MMC cards

    Windows 10 Home

    Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills
    Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser
    Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically
    Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well
    Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift
