Plug XLR audio sources into your RED KOMODO, WEAPON, EPIC-W, SCARLET-W, RAVEN, or another DSMC2 camera body with the A-Box from Wooden Camera. The A-Box provides two 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs to the RED Base Expander Module using its 3.5mm stereo audio jack. It secures to your camera rig using the built-in 19mm rod clamp or with the included 15mm rod bushing. A 1/4"-20 mounting solution using a short bolt-on 19mm rod is also included for mounting the A-Box without rods.

This will not provide phantom power to your mic, so unless the mic has its own power source (or integrated battery) then it will not work.

The Wooden Camera A-Box for RED KOMODO, WEAPON, EPIC-W, SCARLET-W, RAVEN, and DSMC2 does not provide phantom power. This adapter does not provide phantom power and the RED® Base Expander Module is a required item (not included).

Yes, The Wooden Camera A-Box should work fine with other cameras that offer 3.5mm inputs. Keep in mind the A-Box does not support phantom powering connected microphones.
