Seems to have a good built quality, it does kill flare from above practical lights (artificial) while shooting architecture. I don´t like the fact that the bulbous element of the 17 TS-E is outside the area protected by the filter. You cant place the lens onto a window or transparent surface because the glass of your lens will touch first, and scratch... If you have the budget go for the fotodiox wonderpana, it comes with a cap, meaning that the filter entirely covers the glass element.
