well made, holds the camera still ( using a canon rebel with a 100 mm macro attached.), happy with it so far.

Perfect for my repro needs

I’ve started digitizing my 35mm and medium format films recently and this stand works perfectly, sturdy enough to hold my FijiFilm X-T2 with a Nikon mount Sigma 105 f/2.8 Macro lens, and with a scale that helps me change settings with precision when changing formats. Stand fits nicely next to my computer monitor, the right size for a work desk.

Perfect For MY Purpose!

I copied 992 slides to a digital format using my Canon 5D IV with a Canon 100mm Macro lens and a Kaiser Slimline lightbox. This copy stand was a joy to work with. The up/down mechanism is smooth and precise. Stability is solid. It is lightweight and easily assembled and disassembled. There is nothing to not like about it!

Very Good Buy But A Little Pricey

I was expecting a larger base for the price but it works fine for doing macro photography.

Solid and easy to store

I got this copy stand for doing negative scanning with my camera. It was easy to set up and is easy to break down and store. The head is friction drive rather than gear but holds my Sony A7R III quite easily and has no creep.

Very good copy stand that is easy to setup and if need be take down when not in use. The height adjustment works well and provides precise adjustment of the camera.

I've looked at various reviews of the Kaiser Repro Kid Copy Stand Kit as an alternative to this item and a common concern across reviews is the screw that holds the camera in place is not strong enough to keep the camera in the desired position. Is the camera mount head on this item more robust/robust enough?
Asked by: Tobias
The sturdiness of the screw is fine. I placed a thin rubber washer between the screw base and the camera and everything has remained balanced plus the lock works as designed. I have copied more than 4,000 negatives thus far with no problems. Good value.
