    LEE Filters SW15077 reviews

SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Lenses with 77mm Filter Threads is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mark II system has moved SW150 forward After suffering more than a few issues with the SW150 MK1 system, generally, I've been really impressed with the way the MK2 has ironed out the Mk1 flare issues and evolved a system that's much easier to handle. Now with this 77m filter adaptor, what was exclusively a 14-24mm attachment has opened up a world of additional filtering opportunities for the 24-70mm and 70-200mm Nikon lenses. In fact, the 77mm adaptor is easier to fit and operate than the fittings for its original 14-24 purpose and switching the adaptor between lenses if you are using 2-3 in the field is quick and hassle free - good work Lee!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing genius I used the Mark I system which had a terrible and cumbersome adapter - you had two pieces, one to thread on the lens and one to clip onto that to hold the filter unit, it didn't fit properly together and would sometimes let go causing the filter unit to fall - I had to file down the groove deeper to make it somewhat reliable. So this new adapter eliminates that completely, and makes it so much easier to fit the filter unit on. You thread this onto the lens, then slip the filter unit over and that's it - being able to tighten down the unit to prevent slippage and fall is great piece of mind. Also is more compact to carry in the bag with the filter unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dents and Scratches on original item AND replacement! Bought this because Lee's old 77mm adapter for the old SW150 did not fit well with the MkII. You can still use it but there is a good chance you will scratch-up your filter if placed on the slot nearest to the lens. Price is steep and obvious money grab but I needed it so bit the bullet. Received this product with scratches that were obvious due to the black anodized paint used on the aluminum material. OCD and the price of the item combined made me return it and asked for a replacement. The replacement came 2 days before a photo trip. IT HAD MORE SCRATCHES AND BIGGER DENTS! Either Lee sent B&H some bad samples or they are having some QC issues. BTW, it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality I use this with my Lee SW150 filter system that I bought for my Nikon 14-24 lens so I can use all the filters on my other Nikon lenses such as my 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8. It is excellent in materials and craftsmanship. Fits perfect and works as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much less hassle to attach in the field Much better design than previous adaptor for 77mm with first gen SW150 system. Previous design would not fit properly if a light shield was in place, and the groove on the lens adaptor would not hold the SW150 in place, so I had to manually file it down so that the groove was deep enough to hold the frame and not fall off. It was awkward to assemble in the field as well. This new design is great, as you just thread it onto the lens and that's it -no fussing around with multiple pieces to attach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and solid Like the tittle says. I think it's built solid. I use it on my 24-70 with the new SW150 mk2 system. All of these new products have been great. My only complain and has nothing to do with this product are the grad filters. They scratch real easy. I now have to replace it and I just picked it up a few months ago. But everything else is amazing. I love lee filter stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep your Filters Working Anyone who has purchased an Lee SW150 system for a large wide angle lens should look into investing in an adaptor that allows them to connect the system to their existing lens collection. This adaptor is a bit thick, but makes connecting the SW150 Filter holder to 77mm threads extremely quick and easy.
