This combination of optics and objectives make the Everest ideally suited for most outdoor activities from birding, to sporting events, to comet, or asteroid spotting.

Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The housing is protected by a rubberized armor that is textured for a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof. A diopter adjustment and twist-up eyecups allow the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs and can be comfortably used with or without eye wear. For long-term glassing, the Everest is tripod mountable with an optional adapter.
