Love the case its big, but you can carry everything you need in it for a photo shoot. Well constructed and good quality! Planning a trip soon and will be taking it to photograph the fall leaves.

Awesome case for Inspire 1 PRO

You get what you pay for. This bag is top quality. Plenty of room so that you don't feel crammed. Sure its bigger than my previous HPRC Inspire 1 X3 case but I don't mind it. I recently flew on Delta and it was easy to get around the airport with. With all my gear inside it came to 52lbs and it didn't qualify for oversized. I'm very happy I went with this bag and would suggest it to anyone looking for something that doesn't leave you crammed.

Landing Mode with Everything

Pulling the gimbal off after each flight is crazy. The Inspire Pro with X5 cam fits in this case without removing the gimbal or pulling the legs up (stores the vehicle in landing mode). That's a big benefit in terms of setup time and maintaining the vehicle's integrity. You can also fit a 13 iPad Pro into this case, if you want, along with mods to the RC arm for holding this big tablet - by using a bread knife.. Likewise laptops and extra props etc. You buy it - chop it up any way you like :-) It's *big*, but there's room for everything in one big box. It may well *float you home* if it all goes awry, because whilst it's bigger than others, and jolly tough, it's not that heavy.

Big and heavy, but very useful

This case is big and heavy. It is not suitable for carrying; only for wheeling around. So don't think of taking it on a hike! That said, it does what it claims: it's a flight-mode case that can hold just about everything you could think to bring with you. So if you need to travel light, use the suitcase. And if you need to bring 8 batteries, 2 remotes, 2 tablets, some lenses, some filters, some cables, etc., use this beast.

Overall a good case. I like the flexibility of the compartments/trays. Definitely holds plenty of stuff. Seems sturdy and I don't think it will have any problems lasting for a long time. Only complaints, although minor- Foam is a little soft and scratches easy Shipping/packaging- it's just put in a box with no protection. I ordered 2 and one of them had 2 tears in the box and the case is already scratched up (I know it will get beat up anyway) No where to store your sunshades... I am pretty sure almost everyone is using sunshades Overall, seems to be a good case and I would consider buying another

Great size and versatility for all your accessories!

This large case will hold everything you need for your inspire. I was able to travel to Mexico and travel all around the desert with all the tools and spare parts I needed for a busy two week trip. Extra props, a spare gimbal, dual chargers, a charging hub and about 8 batteries. Keeping the drone in landing mode allows you to move around and get flying again immediately. Everything stayed protected and organized. Great case!

Love the product!

If you have an Inspire 1 Pro and plan to travel with it, this case is a must. The soft case that ships with the aircraft is flimsy. I would also consider purchasing the Helipack from Think Tank Photo if you need to pack it to a shoot.

Exactly what I was after

I purchased this case with inserts for the dual operator X5R. The original case the Inspire comes in isn't up to the rigours of travel and I never liked the idea of having to dismantle the camera/gymbal and then place the machine in travel mode - too time consuming and the less times you need to dismantle/handle sensitive gear the better. This is a great solution, everything in one case and all you need to do is pull it out and put the props on. Only thing I didn't like was there was not enough space for the full set of 4 spare props that comes with the machine, can only fit 6 props in the cut-out space without squashing the other two in and possibly risking bending them slightly out of shape? Similar quality to an equivalent Pelican case. Like the bigger size wheels though.

question

is this case meant for inspire 1 pro with X5? Also, does the foam seem like it will hold up after use or is it the soft foam that will start to degrade after time?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes this case can fit the X5 or the X3 while mounted to the body of the Inspire Pro. Also the foam is very resilient and will hold it's shape for a long time.

question

Does this have the slide out handle to pull the case like a luggage?
Asked by: Victor W.
I'm 6 ft. tall and using the pull up handle works just fine. I think any taller might be a bit awkward.
