Pretty easy to use and apply. It arrives super fast from B&H and is super easy.

Ok first,it's a little pricey. But,I really like the Survalance Station NVR running on their NAS. I have successfully added a 2n door station Hikvision,Lilin, and Mobotix cameras to the NAS. The Quick Connect app for remote viewing from a PC is also noteworthy.their mobile app is slow compared to others

Just when you think you're done, you're not.

Why can't anyone just sell you something that's complete and works? There's always more to the story. There's always a catch. The catch here is 2 cameras are included but the third one will cost you. The license is more than I spent on the camera! Surveillance Station works well and I thought I had purchased it when I bought my NAS, but I guess I only purchased part of it. If the fee was reasonable, I wouldn't mind so much, but it's excessive. I refuse to buy something both unexpected and excessive. I was a real fan of Synology, but I'm starting to re-think that.

Expensive, but needed

Before purchasing this 4-pack license from B&H, I contacted Synology asking if these licenses were tied to a specific camera because I was going to swap out lower quality cameras in the future. They replied that the license is tied to the NAS and not the camera. I can swap cameras all I want. The NAS determines how many cameras are licensed for the Surveillance software. The price seems a little excessive (for that, I took away 1 star). But hopefully that money allows Synology to keep updating the software.

Sophisticated NVR software

SS is a very sophisticated and capable software. It is almost too much so. It takes a while to explore all of it's capabilities. I think I am perhaps halfway there. It is extremely flexible and can be tailored to your exact surveillance needs. I've used other programs with the same purpose, and SS is head and shoulders above them. It's a little expensive, but in the end it is well worth the investment.

Good price and very convenient

B&H's price was the best I could find. (It's still outrageous, but that's not B&H's fault.) I live in Canada and their $1.00 import fee to look after all the customs paperwork and import charges was stellar. Shipping was very quick.

Expensive but still worth it.

Just enter the license key into surveillance station and add your four devices. That is it. If the price point is too expensive for you then this level of product is not for you.

I would buy again if it were cheaper.

Too pricey. I have 6 cameras. I knew going into the Synology platform I would need these, but it was hard to swallow coming from BlueIris.
