The Birdycam Lite 3-Axis Motorized Stabilizer System from Varavon supports a wide variety of lightweight cameras. It allows you to capture smooth, fluid shots whether you're actively following the subject, or the subject is simply passing by you.

The stabilizer system features encoder 3-axis brushless motors that provides softer movements, and the sealed case and vibration resistant design promote a longer motor lifespan. The PCB board uses the BGC 32-bit encoder controller and SBGC32_12C_Drv expansion module. The locking knob provides faster assembly and safety while filming during movement, and the universal dovetail is attached to the handle and main body for convenience.

    Varavon Birdycam Lite reviews

Birdycam Lite 3-Axis Motorized Stabilizer System is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's the gimbal stabilizer I've been waiting for Birdycam Lite is the gimbal stabilizer I've been waiting for. It's very light to use and easy to use especially it is available my Panasonic GH4, Sony A7S and Canon 5DMark3 which means it compatible with mirroless and most of DSLR camera. Moreover, it can transform various camera work and technique without additional tools such as form low angle to high as well as relay shooting. Also, it is very easy to carry with laptop size bag. I recommend to use the Birdycam Lite to anyone because, it is very easy to use and all you need to know is how to make the balance and you will easily learn within five minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Currently my favorite gimbal out right now The Birdycam Lite is a seemingly compact version of the original Birdycam but with some really key features. I prefer to fly small compact cameras like the GH4 or A7S and the incredible portability is my favorite feature. The Birdycam Lite packed into it's carrying case is about the size of two 3 Liter water bottles. The improved encoder motors are super responsive and the ability to go into inverted mode is also a big plus. If there's one thing I would improve, it would be the wireless controller. The joystick is responsive but could be slightly more robust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will honestly tell you what I felt. Hi. I have used Birdycam Lite for about a month and half. First, it was light, and it could be changed to many different form. So it was practical to use in various shooting environment. I especially preferred to use Shoulder Mode which was pretty nice when I had to stand and hold the gimbal for many hours, and was also convenient to put it directly on the ground without a stand. All of gimbal components could be able to disassemble and store into BCLite bag. It was very comfortable to carry especially when I moved far distance to my business trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get ready to have some fun again. This BirdyCam Lite is a breakthrough product because of its weight, size, modern encoders and overall versatility. One of the things I like most is its small form-factor and ability to compact down to the size of a laptop carry bag. Also the low weight makes a huge difference in arm fatigue which helps in getting better shots. Also I really enjoy having a wireless remote that's connected via Bluetooth technology. Cordless control allows for lots of fun uses in the field. Overall, this product is a big asset to me as a film-maker and hobbyist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant and Awesome! This is the gimbal which I've been waiting for a long time. It's super light weight, very easy to make camera balance, longer battery running time as well as very stable for any kind of shooting conditions. The most advantage of this gimbal is it can change to many diverse positions without additional stuff. The wireless bluetooth joystick allows that the camera can be back to the center position immediately at any position by press of Home Position Button as well as I can set the each different angles if I holding for three seconds once the power is on. The size of the bag is almost same as laptop bag as compact size which very convenient at any time. They say it's call Encoder version gimbal and it seems to be much upgraded and stable. I really happy with Birdycam Lite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The most obective and honest evaluation of the Birdycam LITE Hi. I'm a camera director shooting extreme sports. This time I used the Birdycam LITE while I was shooting a snowboarding scene. My viewpoints after its usage are as follows: *No malfunction of using on -12 or when snowing. *ROLL Axis might fall if activated for the first time on freezing weather, but can recover to horizon in 1 minute. *If horizon deflects, it's quite useful to form temporary default setting by adjusting horizon using hands. *Very satisfactory battery durability (consumes just 12 battery lines with whole day using). *Even if deflected by outer impact in the middle of shooting, can be back to default position within 23 seconds, so that continuous shooting is possible. *Satisfactory storage convenience by own bag provided as well as other backpacks for shooting gears if necessary.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware, faulty gimbal motors The Birdycam Lite seems well built and feels good in the hands. I went through all the setup steps, balancing, charging batteries, etc. Turned on the unit and got a flashing blue light, little power up at first and then nothing after that. Also had a friend that ordered the Birdycam Lite and the same thing happened to him. I'm returning mine and going to try another. It better be good or no more Varavon products for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gimbal with light weight I guess this is a light gimbal to use. For my previous gimbal, I used 16-35 lens with 5D3 camera. But it was too heavy and it was tough for me to shoot for 30 minutes continuously. Then I recently changed my gimbal to Birdycam Lite with A7S2 lens. And I figured out myself that I didn't get tired much while I was continuously shooting for 3 hours. Therefore, I recommend BC Lite to those who look for light and stable gimbal.
