The slider features a belt-driven design for smooth operation and offers 6" of camera travel, making it ideal for close-ups, product shots, or any time where subtle movement is required.

Though small in stature, the SliderONE supports loads up to 20 lb, making it ready for use with a wide range of cameras, from a compact mirrorless to a large digital cinema camera. A friction adjustment wheel lets you dial in the amount of resistance for each slide, with a second wheel used to securely lock the camera in place. Additionally, the slider makes an ideal partner for the separately-available FlexTilt head, together creating a compact and versatile slider solution.

Can articulating arms be attached to the slider. I saw a photo where a zoom recorder seems to be attached underneath somehow?

Not sure about the zoom recorder under the slider. I don't think that would work. As for articulating arms. Edelkrone has a FlexTilt 2 head (could be seen as an articulating arm) that mounts between the slider and camera. Very useful feature. The Pro version comes with a motion control motor that mounts underneath it all. I hope that helps.

How loud are the motors on this? Are they loud enough to be picked up by a camera mic?

There are no motors on this slider. You have to purchase the separate motion module which does have a self noise that can be picked up by the camera mic.

I think you can definitely use the 6d with a 24-70. I use gh4 with the metabones adapter and a 24-70 tamron g2 on a sirui x10 ball head and works fine.

it is some kind of rubber material. it is not leather. have been using the Slider one for about 6 months now, if you are concerned about durability, I wouldn't, I think its pretty solid and durable.
