There is a lock switch which will prevent lens creep but the lens does not offer a focus a button.

While using the lens in video mode, does the exposure flicker during a zoom in or out?
FUJIFILM XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens have variable apertures.
If you would be using the lens minimun aperture it will increase and decrease automatically from f/4.5-5.6 or f/9-11 if you would be attaching the Fujifilm 2x Teleconverter.
If you select a higher aperture the f-stop won't fluctuate.

Most of the photos on the website with this lens look as if the shooters missed focus. Is this the lens, website, or shooter?
As a 40 Year Professional, I can tell you that I would not tolerate a lens that wasn't sharp. Don't worry about the Fuji Lenses, especially the 100-400mm. If the shots are out of focus, its not the lens.
