I use this primarily for sending video from a camera operator with a steadicam rig to a tomos monitor/recorder. I also have used for feeding HDMI from a laptop to a projector in crowded public meeting setting. Worked great. Not one glitch.

great video image !!!

question

Hi,I'm confused, do these items use sony or canon batteries, the picture says sony for both but the specs say canon for transmitter, or as I hope can you choose? Why would you have 2 different batteries??thanks,Nick
Asked by: Nick B.
The transmitter uses a Canon LP-E6 battery plate and the receiver uses a Sony NP-F series battery plate.

question

Does this item need a clear line of sight? What if there are obstructions? For example: if I was filming in a room and the monitor was 100ft away in another room.
Asked by: Ryan
The reason line of sight is given by manufacturers is that is a dependable rating. When you have obstructions, it is impossible for the manufacturer to say what will happen. What does this mean in a practical sense? Think in terms of how dense are the obstructions. Figure with less dense material such as wallboard and lumber, you can be further, like two house rooms. If the wall is concrete or brick, you should still be good if there is a nearby doorway between the rooms. If still spotty, run cable from the monitor to the room the transmitter is in and hang the receiver out of frame.

Can you pair this unit with Cinegears Ghost-Eye?
Asked by: Yura
Our understanding is that Ghost-Eye units only pair with each other.
