While seemingly a large 47" modifier the Para 133 Reflector Kit with Focusing Tube from Broncolor is actually comprised of 24 small segments that act like hard lights. Arranged in a soft, deep pattern, together they produce a smooth quality of light that almost paradoxically emphasizes surface texture such as makeup and skin. Three diffusers are offered to further soften the light if desired. An optional honeycomb grid is also available to defeat spill light and add directional control. An adapter is needed to accommodate your brand of light.

Is the Siros 800L too heavy to be used in the ...

Is the Siros 800L too heavy to be used in the fullt de-fcoused position with this kit?
Asked by: Joe
The Siros 800L can be used in the defocused position without diffusion, but we recommend use of a heavier duty stand and proper sandbags for counterweight. When using the accessory diffusion with Para 133, there is a limitation of how far the unit can be defocused due to the physical size to be aware of.

question

What's the difference between this kit and the FT Kit?
Asked by: Bryan G.
The main difference between the units is the BroncolorPara 133 FT Reflector Kit (52 )B&H#BRP133HRRKFT, would be their heat-resistant option designed for use with both hot lights and strobes, and has a maximum wattage recommendation of 2,000W Tungsten / 1600W HMI for hot light usage. The BroncolorPara 133 Reflector Kit with Focusing TubeB&H#BRP133RK, is a more economical option which is designed for strobe usage only, and is not heat-resistant for hot light usage.

How is the Para 133 connected to the stand on the ...

How is the Para 133 connected to the stand on the stock photo of the item? I have both Avenger a5034 stand and Manfrotto 425b boom. Both are offered at Para 133 accessories page also. While the a5034 has a thin retractable spigot for heavier staff I prefer using the Avenger E200 adapter. This adapter is too thick to fit the Para's pivoting boom clamp. The Manfrotto 013 Spigot is too weak for the Para (with a mounted Siros L 800) which spins down when at angle leaving a deep groove in it.
Asked by: Bobkov
In the photo, the Para 133 is resting in the Junior 1-1/8" receiver on the stand. The included swivel/stand adapter for the Para 133 is compatible with both Junior (1-1/8") receivers or Baby (5/8") mounting pins, we recommend mounting it to a Junior receiver when possible.

Hi there we recommend looking at the Broncolor Para 133 FT Reflector Kit (52 ) B&H # BRP133HRRKFT MFR # B-41.175.00 and Broncolor HMI FT1600 Kit (90-265 VAC) B&H # BRHMI1600LHB MFR # B-42.118.02, these two items paired together offer a great HMI solution with Para 133.

Yes, it does come with the focusing system, tilt head and F focusing tube. The only thing that is not included is the lamp adaptor for your particular flash system.
