Is there any way to fit a Canon 100-400mm lens in this bag. I have a 5D3 and would like to take a 100-400mm plus either a 16-35mm or 24-105mm lens also?
Asked by: Brian
I have a 5D4 with the 24-105 attached to it in one compartment and the 100-400 in the other one and its a tight fit but works. Used it for 3 week photo trip in Galápagos. It doesn't close right when the 100-400 is on it, but then I had it around my neck and before I hiked with it I swapped lens back onto the camera.

Can the camera insert be removed and turned so opening is vertical? Looking to load a D7200 + Tamron 150-600mm from the top.
Asked by: Sharon
I don't believe it can, and you are addressing the primary concern I have with this pack, which is you can't have your big tele-zoom lens on the camera body and carry the camera the way the pack was designed.

question

Would this fit Canon 5D MK III with 16-35 f/2.8L attached plus 24-105 f/4L 'comfortably' without a lot of effort to squeeze in? I have an old lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW which 'doesn't fit comfortably' the above all. Since photo sport is 20L backpack and this one is 25, I am hopeful this will fit and therefore thinking to switch. Can anybody throw some light please?
Asked by: Anand A.
1) this would absolutely fit a 5D MkIII with either lens attached - WITHOUT a grip2) I would be reluctant to keep an additional pro/large lens in the shooting zippered area - unless it was a small 50mm or similar that could fit very low in the compartment. Particularly if you would like to keep the lens hood on - I think it would likely catch on the other lens, and pull it out when you removed the camera. 3) I've only used the bag for a couple of days, but love it - first bag that was able to easily carry everything I needed, but was absolutely ultralight. - felt like a feather on my shoulders. I have bags from every brand in my closet - and all have a purpose - but this one is the only one I'll take if I'm just out for a day shooting (not on assignment)

question

I'd like to carry a Nikon D7200 with L bracket and 70-200 F4 attached and still have room for a 12-24. Will it fit in this bag or do I need to go up a size?
Asked by: MARVIN M.
I don't think it'll fit in the camera compartment. I have a Fuji XT2 with a L bracket and a 16-55 and a 55-200 and they barely fit in the camera compartment. I would go to a physical store and try it out before buying if possible. Otherwise the bag is awesome for a day trip or two

question

Can someone tell me how small the hip belt will tighten? I have small hips and the bag would be useless if I can't cinch the waist belt.
Asked by: Susan
It can be tightened to approx 25 -28 . I was wearing shorts and cotton shirt so I didn't want to cinch it down too snug. You'll just have to adjust both ends of the strap.

question

Where is the front mounting system for a tripod? I purchased this bag and cannot find any way to attach a tripod, has anyone succeeded in attaching a tripod to this bag?
Asked by: Nancy L
There are straps in pockets at the top and bottom (indicated with a tripod symbol) that can be used to hold the tripod. there is also a loop at the bottom that I use to attach to the tripod as a back-up in case a strap slips. This system works well enough I think.

question

would this fit (in the camera compartment) canon full frame, canon 24-70 2.8, canon 100mm macro and 50mm? iv been reading some different information
Asked by: Tom B.
Hi Tom,The camera compartment is 7.5 x 5 x 8.5 deep so you might be able to fit your full frame camera in depending on which model you have with the 100 macro lens attached. Hope this helps.

question

The description states that this bag has a dedicated tripod, where is it? I cannot find it?
Asked by: Nancy L
It does not have a dedicated tripod - it has dedicated straps (located top and bottom with tripod symbol) and a loop to hold a tripod.
