Is there any way to fit a Canon 100-400mm lens in ...

Is there any way to fit a Canon 100-400mm lens in this bag. I have a 5D3 and would like to take a 100-400mm plus either a 16-35mm or 24-105mm lens also?
Asked by: Brian
I have a 5D4 with the 24-105 attached to it in one compartment and the 100-400 in the other one and its a tight fit but works. Used it for 3 week photo trip in Galápagos. It doesn't close right when the 100-400 is on it, but then I had it around my neck and before I hiked with it I swapped lens back onto the camera.

Can the camera insert be removed and turned so opening is vertical? Looking to load a D7200 + Tamron 150-600mm from the top.
Asked by: Sharon
I don't believe it can, and you are addressing the primary concern I have with this pack, which is you can't have your big tele-zoom lens on the camera body and carry the camera the way the pack was designed.

How do you access the camera compartment in this bag? Does it have side access? The photos and description aren't clear on this point (unless I missed something) - I'm looking for easy access to my camera while hiking.

Yes - it’s a side access pocket.

question

Can someone tell me how small the hip belt will tighten? I have small hips and the bag would be useless if I can't cinch the waist belt.
Asked by: Susan
It can be tightened to approx 25 -28 . I was wearing shorts and cotton shirt so I didn't want to cinch it down too snug. You'll just have to adjust both ends of the strap.

question

Where is the front mounting system for a tripod? I purchased this bag and cannot find any way to attach a tripod, has anyone succeeded in attaching a tripod to this bag?
Asked by: Nancy L
There are straps in pockets at the top and bottom (indicated with a tripod symbol) that can be used to hold the tripod. there is also a loop at the bottom that I use to attach to the tripod as a back-up in case a strap slips. This system works well enough I think.

question

The description states that this bag has a dedicated tripod, where is it? I cannot find it?
Asked by: Nancy L
It does not have a dedicated tripod - it has dedicated straps (located top and bottom with tripod symbol) and a loop to hold a tripod.

question

I'd like to carry a Nikon D7200 with L bracket and 70-200 F4 attached and still have room for a 12-24. Will it fit in this bag or do I need to go up a size?
Asked by: MARVIN M.
I don't think it'll fit in the camera compartment. I have a Fuji XT2 with a L bracket and a 16-55 and a 55-200 and they barely fit in the camera compartment. I would go to a physical store and try it out before buying if possible. Otherwise the bag is awesome for a day trip or two
