question

Does this record simultaneously? If it does not, How difficult is it to synchronize the footage?
Asked by: Geoff
This is just a frame to mount the gopros in.You have to synchronize manually. That's not difficult. (I use a flash to get a frame to sync on)Stitching the video is difficult.

question

Why is underwater footage not stitchable?
Asked by: Benjamin K.
Light bends as it passes through water, therefore it distorts an image. You need to have a proper lens on a camera to compensate for this distortion and how it affects the frame of each camera and the paralax points between multiple cameras' lenses. Kolor and 360RIZE make 'Abyss' rigs for underwater capture. Using the f360 Freedom with the gopro cases will result in distorted footage, and will not be stitchable.

That depends on what settings of the camera you are using. But those numbers would be the ball park.
