This plug-and-play optical media writer supports DVDs at up to 24x and CDs at up to 48x. It even supports burning of up to 8.5 GB DVD double layer discs and 700 MB 79 minutes CD.

Whether you're labeling your finished discs with adhesive labels, using inkjet-printable discs, or laser burning via LightScribe or LabelFlash; OWC has included the software to give your discs a polished, professional, finished look. Smile DiskLabel for Mac OS X allows you to create, print, and share CD labels, jewel case inserts, and DVD covers. Prosoft Engineering Data Backup 3 for Mac OS X v10.2.8 (and above) and NovaStor NovaBACKUP for Windows allows you to backup your data easily.
