This B&H Kit combines the HP Z240 Series Tower Workstation with a 24GB (3 x 8GB) memory module kit, an HP NVIDIA Quadro K1200 graphics card, a 500GB 2.5" SATA III SSD, a 5TB SATA III hard drive, an LG 16x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter, two 7-pin 180 to 90° 18" SATA cables, and B&H installation services. This HP Z240 workstation is powered by a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-6700 Quad-Core processor. This system features two internal drives - a 500GB SSD and a 5TB hard drive, for a total storage capacity of 5.5TB. A 16x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter is also installed alongside the native Slim SuperMulti DVD Burner, enabling the system to read and write data stored not only on CD and DVD media, but also Blu-ray discs. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.

For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation has been upgraded with an HP NVIDIA Quadro K1200 graphics card which is equipped with 4GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM that supports external resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz and up to four simultaneous displays using its four Mini DisplayPort video outputs. Other external peripherals may be connected to this system using the six USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB keyboard and mouse are also included.

While this system does natively include 8GB (1 x 8GB) of RAM, once upgraded with the bundled 24GB (3 x 8 GB) memory module kit, this system features 32GB (4 x 8GB) of 288-pin 2133 MHz PC4-17000 DDR4 SDRAM. The included 500GB SATA SSD is configured as the primary system drive with the operating system, while the 1TB and 5TB hard drives are configured as additional storage.     This system is powered by a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-6700 Quad-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the CPU can be overclocked to 4.0 GHz using Intel's Turbo Boost technology. The 8GB of 2133 MHz PC4-17000 DDR4 RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. While the current memory configuration is 1 x 8GB, there are four total memory slots that will allow the RAM to be upgraded to 64GB, using one 16GB module in each of the four memory slots. For users who wish to add additional components or upgrade the drive bays, the Z240 has a total of six expansion bays - 2 x 5.25" half-height external bays, 1 x 9.5mm slim optical drive bay, 2 x 3.5" internal bays, and 1 x 2.5" internal bay. There are also a total of five PCIe expansion slots. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for multiple simultaneous displays to be used via its two DisplayPorts and single DVI-I port. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek HD ALC221-VB audio codec outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.
