The Hawke Optics 4-16x44 Vantage SF Riflescope is a versatile all-purpose scope that is ideal for mid to long-range shooting with competent low-light performance. A broad zoom range brings even small, distant targets up-close; and the combination of a 44mm objective lens, that draws in a generous amount of light, and the 11-layer fully multi-coated optics maximize light transmission to produce bright and clear high-contrast images - even in low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk, or in heavily canopied woods.
Its modified duplex reticle has 1/2 mil diameter dots on the fine center crosshairs, with dashes midway between each dot to assist in hold-over/under, range estimation, or target size estimation. Complementing the performance of the scope is a lightweight and durable anodized magnesium alloy housing, with a 1" one-piece maintube that is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof. Threads on the ocular and objective provide a solid mounting point for optional accessories such as sun shades.
