PolarPro P4032 overview

  • 1Description

The ND32/PL filter for Zenmuse X3 Gimbal Camera from Polar Pro makes it possible to shoot with a 1/60 second speed on extremely bright days by reducing light by five stops. By shooting at a nominal shutter speed, the video will retain a more natural motion blur, which is often considered more cinematic. This combination filter is also a polarizer that reduces glare and helps increase color saturation. The polarizer can make clouds stand about better against the blue the sky. It works with the Inspire 1 and Osmo versions of the Zenmuse X3 gimbal camera. Other Zenmuse cameras are not compatible.

Note: For faster frame rates, a higher shutter speed is recommended. As a rule of thumb, the shutter speed denominator should be approximately double the frame rate. For example, 1/240 second is ideal for a 120 fps frame rate, just as 1/60 second is ideal for a 30 fps frame rate.

PolarPro P4032 reviews

ND32/PL Filter for Zenmuse X3 Gimbal Camera is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE!!!!! This filter is absolutely terrible. No doubt the guys who loved it are color blind. Major frustration. After using the Polar ND filters for the Phantom 3 Prowhich work great, I purchased the 32 and 64 filters for my new Inspire. Well, I noticed the colors were VERY warm. So warm that there was clearly a color tint. I came back to my studio and realized I was completely right. The 32ND/PL for Zenmuse X3 will make your colors absolutely off. Sidewalks and concrete will look red-ish, no matter what you do. I ran a test and white balanced for this filter. Then, I changed for the filter that comes with the Inspire 1 V2. The difference is ENORMOUS. The Polar ND32 renders a SUPER warm and red tinted footage, while the DJI filter keeps colors crisp, nice and balanced. POLAR SCREWED UP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking filter, almost too much for sunny days I don't notice much of a color shift at all, it is a great little filter! I was shooting outdoors in Texas at high noon, and i had the camera at 1/50 shutter and ISO 200. When sunset rolled around, i found myself upping is to ISO 400 even when shooting towards the sun. Will probably be the most ND you'll meed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best X3 Filter out there Absolutely love this filter. Use this in direct sunlight on my X3 for aerials and the ND/PL combo is killer. I have a whole kit of these and this one is the go-to.
