Designed to work across Bluetooth platforms with iOS and Android devices, IK-Multimedia's iRig BlueTurn is a pedal that allows you to scroll through digital sheet music with the tap of your foot. Now you no longer need to take your fingers off your flute to get to the next page; if you're utilizing a tablet for your music-reading needs, simply tap your foot on the back-lit up or down arrow located on the pedal to send an HID message to your tablet, thereby "flipping the page."

Wireless connectivity thankfully divests your feet of cable clutter, while a long battery life provided by two AAA batteries ensures that this unit should not fail on you in the middle of a gig.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Pageflip Cicada I use an iPad on stage to read music scores. I've had the Pageflip Cicada Bluetooth page-turner for several years, and while I generally liked it there was one problem, which the iRig BlueTurn has solved: The original Cicada is designed to go to sleep after 10 minutes (I understand that the newer version extends that to 30 minutes). So if I was performing a set that included a mix of scored & non-scored pieces I sometimes found that when I attempted to turn a page the device had gone to sleep! A kick would wake it but then another kick was needed to actually turn the page. I like that I don't need to worry about this with the BlueTurn. Other useful features: - the two buttons are lit when the device is on, both assuring me it IS on (the Cicada has a sometimes blinking light) and better visible on the floor. - the fact that they are buttons embedded on the base of the unit makes them more reliable than the Cicada's open pedals when the device is on a rug. - the power switch is recessed on the bottom of the unit, so less likely to be accidentally turned on when rolling around in my instrument case. - while there are 3 slightly different types of turns it can be set to do, once you choose the one you want it will default to that setting on power-up. It does not have an optional AC adapter, but I expect it will still last a long time on the 2 AAA batteries, plus I always carry a spare set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good silent page turner, but not for an iPad2.... Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I would definitely buy one again. I bought these two iRig BlueTurn Wireless Page-Turners for my two electric guitar players. They love them. Connected right away to their iPads and began using them right away out of the box. Products were shipped promptly and came without any damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Flawlessly I have tried other bluetooth page turners and even tried to build my own. Nothing is as easy to use as the iRig. It works in seconds and never fails me. The pedals are very responsive. I have no complaints
