An update of the '90s cult classic, the DOD Meatbox Sub Synth Pedal (2015) is a subharmonic synthesizer combined with a low-end enhancer, providing tones ranging from a slight thickening to a sludge assault. The Meatbox can be put into a guitar, bass, synth, or drum machine's signal chain for creative low-end expression. The onboard EQ can boost and cut frequencies, and the output control can even create its own distortion if set correctly. The footswitch is true bypass, so the Meatbox won't color your tone when it's off.
OCTAVE: adjusts the amount of low octave being added to the signal
OUTPUT: adjusts the overall output level of the effect
SUB: adjusts the amount of synthesized subharmonic effect is added to the signal
LOW: boosts/cuts the low frequency content of the overall effect
TRS Output for Wet/Dry Operation
Instead of a normal mono TS (Tip-Sleeve) output, the Meatbox (2015) has a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) stereo output jack. This gives you the option of routing your octave and sub signals through their own signal chain using a "Y-splitter" cable (available separately).
