I notice Amazon lists this as “Non-powdered” grip. What exactly does that mean? Also does that mean this is the powdered version or is there only one version of this? (Yes that listing was OLYMPUS branded and not third party)
I think someone meant “non-powered”, meaning no batteries. This grip has no batteries.

question
Doesn't the add on grip look goofy? Does anyone have a photo of the camera with the grip?
What can be as stylish as a PEN F? Okay? I don't think this grip is the product of the person who designed the Nikon F3. It has a basic design, is made of sturdy metal and serves a very practical purpose--especially for folks with larger hands. It does not look goofy. It permits you to change your battery without removing the grip from the PEN F.

question
Does the Arca style plate on the bottom of the grip work properly with a Really Right Stuff lever release clamp?
Hi Joseph, I don't really know. I use ARCA stuff on my D800 but not on my street camera. Don't know why it wouldn't work.

question
does the grip allow enough space for the camera to be tripod mounted with the 12-40mm PRO zoom attached?
Good question. I believe it does. It has a very low profile on the bottom plate. I like this grip very much.
