I own the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 DTH2420KO. I would prefer to purchase the updated (and more future-proofed) X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus Colorimeter instead of this Wacom branded EODIS3-DCWA. Will ONLY this Wacom EODIS3-DCWA model (and the branded Wacom specific software) work on my Cintiq Pro? or will I get just as good results (or better) with the X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus Colorimeter? I am also a little skeptical the Wacom software will work very well.
You should still be able to use the X-Rite branded options, this just comes with some software geared towards Wacom out of the box.
