question

I have a bright room with large windows. How's the brightness for daytime TV (sport) watching in a bright room?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have this in an large open room with lots of windows. I have a drape immediately behind the TV because of glare, other than that the visual brightness is great! The screen does not get any direct sunlight. rather from an open window that opens to a covered porch

question

The B6P has a NTSC video system while the E6P has a ATSC, NTSC-M, QAM video system. I know that NTSC refers to analog receivers, ATSC refers to digital receivers, and QAM refers to cable receivers. So does this mean the B6P cannot receive digital transmission over the air and cannot read and unencrypted cable transmission while the E6P can?
Asked by: James
When I was doing my research I found another online merchant site that listed the following details for this model:Tuner receives over-the-air HDTV broadcasts (antenna required)QAM cable TV tuner (subscription required to receive cable channels contact your local service provider for details)

question

Does the OLED TV have glossy screen and does this present a reflection problem?
Asked by: Anonymous
Any smooth surface like glass, has reflections of light when the light is coming from an external source. In the case of the LG B6P-Series 55, the colors coming from the television are so contrasting between parts of the image that the light don't bounce back to the viewer. That is the whole magic of the OLED, it is like looking at a matte surface with no bounce reflection of any external light source. The LG-55 OLED has different image settings for different types of rooms, dark, light etc.I recommend it.Alfredo

question

So for clarity the year one manufacturers warranty is not available for Canadian based customers - but additional years past year one purchased from Square Trade would be honoured even for Canadian based customers?
Asked by: Anonymous
The included LG USA warranty is valid in the USA only. The optional SquareTrade warranty covers the TV from the first day of ownership anywhere in the world, including Canada.

question

How well does the OLED TV handle 720p signals (which is the typical signal my cable company provides)?
Asked by: Greg G.
Picture quality is better color and definition in 720P than a old Sony Bravio. You need to be careful with lighting in back of viewing position because it reflects off of screen but not as bad as plasma TVs. TV really performs in higher broadcast 1080P and 4K content. No regrets buying this one.
