Augment the power of your mixing room, project studio, or any other monitoring setup with the KH 805 Active Studio Subwoofer from Neumann, a 10" woofer that reaches all the way down to 18 Hz, boasts 160W RMS / 200W peak power-handling, and features a multitude of ways to integrate with your existing set up; fourth-order crossover points, manual acoustic controls, four different routing modes, and remoteable electronics (requires optional kit)—all of these allow for greater ease and flexibility in implementation.
In addition to providing a loud and accurate low-end, the magnetically-shielded subwoofer increases the maximum SPL of your loudspeaker set up by up to 8 dB, while simultaneously decreasing any harmonic/intermodulation distortion that might be imparted by your main monitors. You can also use the KH 805 as a daisy-chain point for other subs.
Furthermore, this unit features a bass management design compatible with 2.1 systems (the common two monitor/one subwoofer arrangement) or 0.1 systems—surround 5.1, 7.1, etc. Thus, it is suitable for music mixing and surround applications, be they musical or post-production in nature.
