The S7R MkIII from Quested is a two-way active near-field reference monitor that features two class A-B amplifiers capable of delivering a total of 190W RMS. The monitor is mated to an enclosure tuned with a double-flared port designed to minimize any possible low-frequency disturbance. The result is a powerful, neutral, articulate, and accurate compact monitor suitable for a wide range of music styles, from acoustic jazz to house.
The frequency response is suitable for most applications, and can be extended down to 25 Hz when coupled with the SB10R subwoofer (sold separately). The S7R Monitor is fully magnetically shielded, so it can be used in close proximity to CRT monitors. It is also phase coherent with other S-Series Monitors, enabling them to be used in combination in 5.1 multi-channel systems. Some typical applications include use in mix studios, post-production, project studios, location recording, mastering, and as a component in multi-channel systems.
