Quested SB10R MKII Overview

The SB10R MKII 10” Subwoofer & Controller System from Quested is designed for use with S-Series full-range monitors. The subwoofer extends system frequency response down to 20 Hz and increases the system's maximum SPL. The filter bypass on the left channel optimizes the system’s performance when it is used as a dedicated LFE monitor (sold separately) in a multichannel system. With 2-in / 2-out bass management, a single SB10R MKII System can reinforce a stereo pair of full range cabinets.

A long throw 10" cast chassis driver is mounted in a tuned cabinet constructed of 26mm MDF. The matched 215W RMS amplifier and 2-channel SB10R Controller are housed in a separate, single 1U rack space unit. Due to the isolated power section, the electronics do not suffer the adverse effects caused by the LF vibrations that are created by the drive unit. Also, calibration and operation of the SB10R Controller are quick and convenient.
