Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball Mouse is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, but not great. I have been using Kensington Trackballs for a long time (Expert Mouse and it's predecessors) and always loved the way they worked. I bought this one because I wanted to lose the wire. This Trackball is a bit of a disappointment to me. I love being free of cord, but I miss not having four buttons, which greatly expanded the capability of the Expert Mouse. Perhaps worse though, this trackball has a tendancy to hang for no apparent reason, and quite frequently. With the Expert Mouse when a hang occurred it was a clear signal that the housing needed to be cleaned out of any dust and debris that might have gathered under the ball. A quick clean out would instantly solve the problem. Not so with this one. Can't explain it, but I'll probably go back to my wired Expert Mouse. If only it didn't hang...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT wireless trackball mouse! I love this mouse. It's wireless, the trackball is located in the middle so you use your forefinger, not your thumb, to navigate, and best of all, if it's dropped or falls off the surface it's on, the trackball doesn't come out! I have spent too much time searching for stray trackballs. Buy it now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly Perfect! Very smooth and well made. I love the size and shape but the buttons are a bit of a reach. I love the touch scrolling! I don't accidentally scroll like some have reported and the position is perfect. I have always used a trackball (Logitech Marble) so I adjusted to this one in a few minutes. Mouse users may take a few days to transition but it is worth it. I now get annoyed when I have to use a mouse and I run out of room on the mouse pad. Never happens with the Wireless Orbit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality wireless trackball I like my new trackball, and use it with my computer on a daily basis. One of the things I think is really great is the ability, as a one armed man, to use the trackball completely with just a left arm. I really appreciate the fact that the trackball is centrally located on the mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use stationary mouse Just got it to replace a Logitech wireless m570. The Kensington mouse is more precise than the M570. The touch scroll is easier to use than the scroll wheel although I wouls like to see a button to convert the ball to a scroll function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to handle, compact to pack It's small enough for a travelling track ball but sturdy enough (will not move) so that it stays in place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not ergonomically designed I wanted a wireless ambidextrous trackball mouse. I currently have a wired Logitech Marble Mouse and it works great. This Kensington Orbit Wireless Trackball Mouse is too wide but the worst thing is the round track around the ball is active all around so when moving the ball to move the mouse pointer or trying to click the outside button (could be left or right depending which hand you are using) quite often you touch the orbit track and the page jumps. This makes it tiring to use because you have to constantly have to be careful not to touch it my mistake. I see where one reviewer went as far a removing the ring. I think Kensington shoul come up with software to disable it or some kind of protective cover for the ring to keep it from being touched inadvertently. Or better yet narrow the design of the mouse so it is not so easy to touch the ring by mistake and give it to us that bought the bad design. For now I'm going back to my wired Logitech Marble Mouse.
