The SCP-240 Multi-Level Control Panel from Sierra Video has up to eight levels of status and routing information displayed on a large 2 x 80-character LCD display. The programmable category buttons surround a 10-key array. A second “destination” LCD shows current output status along with a detailed message center for user feedback, such as lock/protect warnings and salvo register selections.
With the help of a powerful onboard microprocessor, the control panel is capable of handling a large database. This design manages serial communications between the router and up to 64 SVS control panels. All buttons of the control panel are soft key, so every key can be programmed.
The SCP-240 control panel can be programmed using the free version of the Graphical Router Interface Program TyLinx Pro or MediaNav software. The software lets you choose your panel, select your functions, assign them to the buttons, store these settings in memory, and/or copy the configurations to multiple SCP panels. This control panel is designed to allow for maximum flexibility in the categorization of buttons. A button can have multiple functions depending how it is programmed and where the user is in the sequence of pushes.
The control panel can be rack-mounted on a standard 19" (RU) EIA rack assembly and includes rack "ears" at the ends of the front of the frames. Moreover, no spacing is required above or below the unit for ventilation.
