Yes, it works just as it's supposed to! Comfortable and ergonomically sound. Why carry the weight in your hand when you can distribute it around your shoulder. Great for those of us that want an easy way to carry a DSLR with a heavy lens all day but keep both hands free if needed.
Great idea

I got the my OP/TECH U.S.A. Utility Strap-Sling when I got a 150-600 lens for my camera along with the Lens Loops to better distribute the combined weight. The strap itself is so comfortable, I really like it. I also like how loop supports the camera at the lens base where it connects to the camera. What a great idea.

question
I worry about the solidity of using only one of the strap clips on my Fuji X-T2 with this strap for the unison loop -- is this method completely solid and dependable?
I cant speak for the Fuji, but I have had mine for 8 months and it has been very solid with my Nikon D850 with heavy telephoto glass.

question
Does the strap come with the uniloop system connectors or do they have to be purchased separately?
I'm almost positive that it came with the connectors. I ended up returning it to get another strap as it kept bothering my face.

question
I'm looking for a cross body strap that does not allow the camera to swing around while hiking mountain trails (i.e. uneven terrain). Is this strap able to be cinched tight enough for camera to stay in place?
The weight of the camera holds it at the hip and it doesn't ride up. As you move the camera will bounce about shifting from lens pointing forward to behind. I tend to keep my hand on the grip most of the time to get at it quickly. When ready to use it sildes up the strap smoothly for quick firing. The sholder strap is very comfortable. I bought it without first trying it out, but found it meets my needs quite well.
