No, the Canon WP-DC55 Waterproof Case for G7 X Mark II will not be compatible with the 7D II. This case is only compatible with the point and shoot G7 X Mark II. I e-mailed Canon USA concerning your inquiry. According to the manufacturer, they state that the Canon WP-DC55 waterproof case weights 32oz or 2lbs.

There are options but this one comes with the cable that will work with that housing Sea & Sea YS-03 Universal Lighting System for Underwater Photography B&H # SEYS03 MFR # SS-03541.
