This large, matte charcoal Aspect Snow Helmet from Smith Optics is designed for safety and comfort while skiing and snowboarding. Its in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS polyurethane inner liner combine to meet both ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2077 Class B certifications. The user adjustable, Dial Fit System utilizes an intuitive, rear twist-knob that allows the wearer to tighten or loosen the helmet's fit whenever needed.
Working in conjunction with the durable, nylon snap-buckle chin strap is a pair of removable snapfit SL ear pads. The sides of these ear pads that face the wearer are perforated, making them compatible with a range of helmet audio chips, and while not listening to music, allow for better hearing than with closed ear pads.
Fourteen vents maximize airflow and heat dissipation. These vents integrate with Smith Optics goggles to provide the benefit of the Smith Optics AirEvac 2 ventilation system which eliminates fogging by driving warm air away from the goggles through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner. For enhanced climate control, a top slider allows the amount of ventilation to be modified even with a gloved hand, while a user-removable, rear goggle lock can be used to secure eye protection worn with this helmet.
