    Yes they can - but you should consider buying the Rosco or other color gels and use the modeling lamps to control for color spills And if you use the D2 1000W that can be a challengeI would suggest a gel set

    If I have the grid kit for Profoto OCF, will these gels fit with that alone, or is there some other necessary adapter needed that would require that I purchase the starter kit?

    If you already own a Profoto OCF Grid Set with the holder, that holder would have integrated gel clips to hold these filters in place. With that said, you would not need anything additional to hold them.
