Connect up to 32 cameras to the WJ-NV300 Series 32-Channel 3MP NVR from Panasonic to view live video, control your cameras, manage recordings, and store footage. The NVR features automatic camera detection and a simple setup wizard for easily finding your cameras and registering them in the system. Additionally, the recorder uses frame rate, image quality, and HDD information to automatically calculate the maximum number of days you can record for. The GUI can be operated by a mouse, and there is an intuitive search which enables you to use your calendar and timeline for locating recordings.
The NVR can record at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 when connected to cameras with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 when connected to cameras with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It supports up to 60 fps frame rates, however, frame rates depends on the camera being used. Recording can be set either by event or by schedule, and pre-alarm recording will show you 10 seconds of recordings prior to an event occurrence. There are multiple alarm sources, including terminal inputs, camera alarms, and command alarms.
Camera control is available through the NVR as well as a browser GUI, enabling you to pan, tilt, zoom, and focus your cameras. Easy-to-use playback controls include standard media buttons (play, pause, stop) and fast forward, rewind, previous recording, next recording, previous image, next image, go to date, and go to last 30 seconds. Up to eight people can access the NVR simultaneously, and camera partitioning enables the user management to assign user levels to 16 user registrations. RAID5/6 provides redundant recording for data security, and an SD card slot allows you to create a simple local copy of recordings.
The NVR uses 3.5" Serial ATA HDDs, and it comes with 8TB of pre-installed storage. You can expand the NVR's storage capacity to a total of 20 slots by using up to two WJ-HDE400 Hard Disk Extension Units (available separately), each with nine additional HDD slots. H.264 and MJPEG formats maximize your storage and bandwidth without compromising image quality.
