The maximum interpupillary distance (distance between the two optical lenses) was still quite narrow for me, even as I do not wear glasses.

Just What I Was Looking For

I ordered these the other day and they got here today (Sunday) 2 day shipping. Great Price Too! Thank You Soo Much. These are a replacement for binoculars I had back in the 70's that were stolen out of my storage unit sometime in the early 90's. Took me awhile, but I finally got around to ordering a replacement. I took them out today and used them and I love them. The only thing I would have added would be a hard-shell case instead of the soft case. Other than that I am happy with them. Thank You!

My Vintage Tasco zoom binoculars were stolen back ...

My Vintage Tasco zoom binoculars were stolen back in the late 90s. My sister had given them to me as a Birthday present in the late 70s right before I moved to San Diego. I was devastated because they were sentimental to me. I am thinking of purchasing these for $65 price. Do you (without knowing the model I had) think these would be comparable to what I had from the 70s or do you think they would be better model, i.e. improved lenses, etc. Thank you and Happy Passover.

They would be better. Over the years they have improved the glass and the coatings on the glass. Also newer more durable and lighter construction material of the housing
