With a sleek silhouette and delicate lines, the black Women's-Fit Transit Snow Goggles with Ignitor Mirror lenses from Smith Optics are styled with Airflow technology to give you clear, fog-free vision all day long. With a VLT of 35%, these goggles are optimal for medium- or low-light conditions. They incorporate two superimposed cylindrical lenses built on a base curve in the X (horizontal) axis and made from carbonic-x lens material. The outer lens is individually molded to offer optimum scratch resistance, increased visual acuity, and enhanced contrast sensitivity. The carbonic-x lens is water and oil resistant and in accordance with ANSI Z80.3 specifications, it offers complete impact resistance.
The Transit lenses are treated with Fog-X to deliver anti-fog performance. Airflow technology uses vents in the brow of the outer lens to increase the circulation of air. A semi-porous foam filter is positioned behind the vents to prevent snow and moisture from infiltrating the goggle chamber. Fog-X lens treatment employs a hydrophilic, micro-etched surface to absorb moisture and disperse it over a wide area. Unlike standard anti-fog coatings, the Fog-X treatment can't be wiped away because it is physically carved into the lens. Additionally, a single layer of hypoallergenic spacer face foam creates a thermal barrier between the two lenses, keeping your inner lens warm, dry, and fog-free.
The Transit goggles have an integrated silicone-backed anti-slip strap with a dual-slide adjustment system to ensure a perfect fit over your helmet. A microfiber bag with replacement lens sleeve is included for storage. Like all Smith Optics products, these goggles are made in the USA.
