Outfitted with superior High Density and Extra-Low dispersion optics, the Vortex's 3-15x42 Razor HD LH Riflescope does not compromise on ruggedness or precision opto-mechanics. To offer exceptional image quality and transmission of balanced color spectrum, low dispersion of passing light, and to deliver high definition true-color images, the lenses are crafted from high definition High Density (HD) Extra-L ow dispersion optical glass and a 42mm objective aperture that gathers enough light to provide bright images in most lighting conditions. The lenses are fully multi-coated with proprietary XRPlus anti-reflection coatings for maximum transmission and minimum glare. With the additional ArmorTek scratch-resistant coating, the objective lens is protected from scratches, debris, dirt, oil, and fingerprint stains.

Located in the second focal plane is the G4 BDC Reticle. Its outline is inspired by the German #4 reticle design and features three thin and long tapered posts with fine spikes, an ultra-fine center dot, and BDC markings below the center. It offers subtensions in MOA from 140 to 650 yards depending on your rifle class. The BDC hash marks are ranged at 4.5 MOA on the first hash, 7.5 MOA on the middle hash, and 11 MOA at the tip of the heavy vertical post. The overall reticle pattern provides a clear and unobtrusive view of your targets. Enabling you to tap into the full potential of this reticle, such as edge-to-edge precision, the optical system was assembled using a computer-controlled alignment process. This high-precision process also delivers optimum image brightness and sharpness. 

To match exceptional optical performance, this riflescope also offers an extremely durable construction and precision adjustments. Its 1" maintube is machined from a single-piece of high quality aluminum and coated with an abrasive-resistant and low-glare matte anodized finish. The scope is filled with argon gas and sealed with O-rings for a complete fogproof and waterproof performance. To provide a smooth and precise zooming action, the opto-mechanical gear is carefully designed and enhanced with Precision-Glide Erector System. The elevation turret also prevents dialing below zero. For visual reference, the fast-focus eyepiece and windage and elevation turrets are outfitted with scales.
