Best Paper Out There

This really isn't paper, but cotton rag. Very archival. Print on it with pigment prints and your prints will last a very long time.

Great paper, and packaged well for safe shipment!

Great color and contrast - I dislike muted colors and grey shadows, so I avoid most matte papers. Very heavy but still feeds well through rear feed of P700. And must mention that B&H is one of the few places that packs printer paper with corner protection. I will never order paper from Amazon again - too many boxes of paper with dinged corners (which they'll replace with more similarly damaged packages). Paper ordered from B&H has always arrived intact. This is a huge deal!

This paper just like the old darkroom gelatin silver paper I used many years ago. Now I can print my old negatives without going into the darkroom and mixing chemicals. Thank you EPSON!!

This is my go to place from now on!

The Only a Paper to Print on

The paper quality far surpasses the completion for that authentic and frankly, satisfying end result for my black and white photography. This paper resembles the chemical print to a T. The silver halide tonality is stunning, strengthened by a near 400 year archival life expectancy, further locks down my decision to only use this superior paper. If you're a print enthusiast or pro, don't over look. Test out this for your next gallery show and never look back.

Is this the same as Hahnemuhle Platine?
Asked by: Richard
The Epson Legacy Platine paper is intended for giclée printing while retaining a darkroom aesthetic. The Hahnemuhle Platine paper has no sizing, which makes it inadequate for inkjet printing, and is mostly for platinum or alternative printing processes. Based on your use case, your mileage may vary.

I just noticed it as a matte finish. Do I use the Matte K ink on an epson 3880? I didn't switch fro the gloss K and at first glance the few prints look very fine!
Asked by: Bruce
The matte papers can be used with either the matte black ink or the photo black ink. The glossy and luster papers are limited to use with the photo black ink.

Q1: What is the diameter of the (cardboard?) tube at the center of the roll? Q2: How difficult is it to remove the curl of this thick paper & what method or tool do you use to do the flattening? Q3: What tips do you have to feed the paper into the printer without getting a feed error?
Asked by: Jeff
Besides the core diameter size, you also want to keep in mind the paper weight and to confirm that your printer is compatible to print this paper.

I still use some outdated profiles as my software is old,but I since have used photoshop itself to determine the colors seen on the desktop and then tweak it when I print Legacy 24 Legacy is a superb paper.
