Zeiss Sport Optics engineered, designed, and built the Victory V8 1.8-14x50 Riflescope to be your go-to scope for all your needs. From small game and varmint to predator and big game hunting, this scope will give you the confidence to take your shot no matter how far away you are.

The broad zoom range allows you to use the scope at close to medium range or scan wide swaths of the terrain in front of you for targets, with the ability to dial up the magnification for positive identification and precise first-shot accuracy. To ensure the clearest views possible, Zeiss utilizes SCHOTT HT glass in the proprietary Ultra FL lens system and their anti-reflection T* multicoatings system, as well as their hydrophobic LotuTec protective coatings. These technologies are complemented by a large objective lens. When put all together the optical system produces views through the scope that are bright and clear with accurate colors and high contrast with minimal distortion or aberrations—even when observing small game at high magnifications and long range.

To get you precisely zeroed into your rifle the turrets give you 1/10 MIL impact point correction on both the windage and elevation, with a special ballistic drop compensator (BDC) system on the elevation that is optimized for long-distance shooting applications. The compensator comes with nine rings for popular calibers that can be swapped out as needed. A simple duplex reticle is given an upgrade with a center aiming dot with an infinitely adjustable adjustment dial to allow precise brightness control. Integrated into the scope is a motion detector that will put the reticle to sleep if you lower or shoulder the riflescope or lay it on your bench—and automatically activate it when you bring the scope back to your eye.

Protecting the optics and electronics is a lightweight and durable aluminum housing treated with a scratch-resistant anodized finish. The maintube has a large 36mm diameter that not only maximizes light throughput from the 50mm objective, but provides the room required for the lens system and prisms to be properly and accurately aligned. To withstand the rigors of the trail, the housing is nitrogen filled and sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in conditions and temperatures.

Optical Performance

  • Designed as a general-purpose long-range shooting scope that is ideal for a wide range of applications from small game and varmint to predator and big game
  • Broad 1.8-14x allows user to scan the terrain with a wide field of view, then dial up the magnification for positive identification and precision aiming
  • Large 50mm objective lens improves low-light performance and ensures views remain bright and clear even when observing small game at high power and long range
  • Ultra high-transmittance SCHOTT HT glass boosts light transmission to 92% to improve color and image quality especially in the blue spectral range with greatly reduced thermal blooming
  • Ultra FL lens concept system utilizes a series of lenses on high-power/large objective riflescopes to reduce aberration, produce a wide field of view, and improve contrast and clarity
  • T* anti-reflection fully multicoated optics present brilliant, high-contrast images, even in adverse light conditions such as at dawn, dusk, and twilight
  • Water-resistant (hydrophobic) multilayer LotuTec coatings on external lens surfaces ensure water rolls off the glass without leaving residue and that dirt and fingerprints will not stick
  • 69.3' field of view at 100 yd on 1.8x power, 9.3' on 14x

Reticle Details

  • #60 Plex reticle: Highly versatile and utilitarian duplex crosshair design
  • Center red aiming dot provides a clear center aiming point that is easy to see in all light conditions at any magnification
  • Modified duplex design has thick outer posts on the horizontal and lower vertical axes
  • Thin center hairs extend up on the vertical axis to keep the view clear and uncluttered while providing clear aiming points
  • Second (rear) focal plane keeps the reticle the same size regardless of the magnification
  • Infinitely variable intensity selection enables precise dot illumination based on personal preference and ambient light conditions; level is automatically saved and returns to selected intensity when it is turned on next
  • Integrated motion sensor automatically turns off reticle when the scope detects a side angle of 45° or up/downward angle of 70°. When rifle is picked up, reticle is automatically activated
  • Auto off after 3 hours to conserve battery power
  • Reticle flashes to indicate low battery
  • Runs on one included CR2032 battery

Use and Handling

  • 1/10 MIL per click impact point correction enables precise shot accuracy
  • 200 MIL windage adjustment range with capped turret
  • Broad 310 MIL elevation adjustment range is optimized for long-range shooting; exposed turret enables fast adjustment in the field
  • ASV bullet drop compensator (BDC) elevation turret assists in improving long-distance shot accuracy
  • Nine ASV/BDC ring inserts are included for popular calibers, with custom rings available directly from Zeiss
  • Side parallax correction turret adjusts from 164' to infinity
  • -3.5 to +2.0 diopter correction
  • Long 3.7" eye relief presents a generous eye box for comfortable viewing and shooting
  • Ultra-wide 10.3mm exit pupil on 1.8x, 3.7mm on 14x will still cover most pupils as they open and dilate in lower light conditions
