Keep all of your light gear in one bag using the Production Manager 50 Rolling Gear Case from Think Tank. This high-capacity rolling case is designed to hold 3-4 flash heads, 2-3 power packs, monoblocks, medium to large sized softboxes and light modifiers, as well as large light stands and/or C-stands. A rigid shell keeps your contents safe from outside elements while stiff dividers within the fully customizable interior keep your contents protected and organized. A large front zippered pocket stores reflectors, umbrellas, extension cords, and more while the underside of the case features large mesh pockets for pocket wizards, gels, additional cords, tape and your small accessories that you don't want to get lost in your bag. Adjustable lid straps keep your bag open and accessible allowing you to work quickly on the job. Extra gear like light-stands and tripods can be attached to the exterior of the bag by way of the built-in attachments on either side of the case.

Lockable zipper pulls and an included lock and cable provide an extra level of security as you transport your valuable lighting gear. A business card holder on the top panel as well as an ID plate that can be registered on the Think Tank website allow for easy identification. An ergonomic top handle and two custom, shock-absorbing wide-set wheels make transporting your gear solo or with a friend easy and manageable. An included seam-sealed rain cover protects your gear one step further if shooting in the rain or in dusty terrain.

Production Manager 50 Rolling Gear Case is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bag I've been looking for for years! This bag is perfect. If you shoot on location with strobes, then you know how much of a pain it is to transport the flash heads, stands, modifiers, battery packs etc. I've been looking for a bag that can hold all of it for a while now and I finally found it in the production manager 50! It holds: 4 manfrotto master stands 4 Einstein Flash Heads Elinchrom Deep Octa 2 Strip Banks SoftLighter 2 Battery Packs 6 Foot Westcott Scrim Jim as well as various accessories such as gaff tape, claps, radio receivers, etc. Expensive, but is incredibly worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy-duty tool for all of my gear For my on location corporate shoots, often I do not need a car to get to the clients' offices. Getting on a tram or bus and I'll be there in ten minutes. However, carrying all the gear is a perpetual nightmare, and I was considering getting a hardcase golfbag to put my gear in. I found the Thinktank Production Manager 50 Rolling Gear Case and was blown away. Exactly what I needed. Sturdy, adaptable to my needs and professional looking. First I got some sticker shock, as with transportation to Europe the pricetag arrived close to a Louis Vuitton bag, but after a look at my calender with all upcoming corporate onlocation gigs, it was a no brainer. The bag is heavy, but looks and feels heavy-duty to protect my gear. The only downside I can imagine is that my photostudio has no elevator and carrying this up and down will be a nice crossfit workout. I will use it for the first time in a couple of days and will report back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Huge Despite doing my research, measurements, etc., the PM50 was even larger in person than I anticipated, which makes it a little tricky to maneuver around corners and tight spaces especially when it's full and heavy. Like all ThinkTank gear, the build quality is second to none, and there's a lot of attention to detail. It comes with tons of dividers though, like many bags, never exactly (enough of) the ones you're looking for. The case has plenty of zippered compartments, but I wish the large outside zippered compartment had been split into two medium-sized compartments but others might prefer the single large compartment (can't please everyone). Unfortunately, I'll be returning this case for the smaller, and hopefully more manageable, PM40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product It's expensive, but as I've gained more experience, I've understood the value of quality. This is definitely the best quality bag out there and it will carry plenty of equipment for years. Every part is constructed well and I have packed about 95 lbs of equipment into this thing without any issues. (It can still fit more)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best that you can buy! If I have to make a choice between two items and one is made by Think Tank the choice is made. Over the years....I am happy to say I now own multiple items made by Think Tank - their quality can't be beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Case. Insanely expensive This case is pretty much everything I need to carry an entire lite mobile studio. It's rock solid and definitely has sufficient compartmentalization, between the fully customizable main bay and various zipper pockets on the inside lid. I needed a roller case just like this and I couldn't find anything like it - which makes me think perhaps that is why it retails at $600. Even for its great construction and large size I can't wrap my head around such a huge sticker price. I could be totally wrong, but it just seems excessive. One other thing is the weight. Empty, it comes in around 25lbs. Fully packed, this thing can probably hit upwards of 100lbs, making it pretty brutal to check if you're flying. But that much gear is unavoidably heavy. At any rate, I'm thankful to have it! I am way better-organized now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good... I've used this on one local shoot so far and it was great. The wheels roll quickly and quietly. It's narrow and long compared to my Tamrac Rolling Studio, which was getting old and worn. Not much else to say here. It's a great case and the quality justifies the price. If I would have been going through an airport, I would not have packed it like you see in my image because the 4 Elinchrom ELC lights were pushing the lid of the bag up because they are long lights. I would lay them down on their sides next time. The case is not long enough to fit the 4 ELC heads longways in one line, but there are other ways to configure the case. Older Elinchrom heads would fit this way. I've also included a shot of the case next to the Tamrac Rolling Studio (discontinued) so you can see the differences. Overall, I'm a happy customer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little too big... This gear case is very well made but be aware that if you try to fly with it you might be hit with oversized and overweight fees. I loaded mine up with a few light stands,a boom, a soft box, portable beauty dish and two ProFoto B-1 strobes which brought the total weight to 79lbs according to American Airlines. This brought the baggage fee to $400 because of the size and weight of the loaded case. I love Think Tank products and this one is very well made.
