Designed for photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals, the 480GB Extreme 510 USB 3.0 External SSD from SanDisk allows users to store and work with a variety of files including RAW images, high-res photos, HD, 3D, and 4K video, as well as music, documents, and more. This SSD features USB 3.0 connectivity, all-terrain durability that includes a rugged rubber bumper to help protect against falls up to 5.9', IP55 protection for water and dust resistance, shock resistance, vibration resistance, and 128-but AES encryption.

With solid-state drive technology, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a traditional spinning hard disk drive. Sequential data read speeds of up to 430 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 400 MB/s allow you to access data stored within the drive quickly and efficiently, while bus power allows the SSD to be powered using its USB 3.0 connection, with no external power sources required.

The 480GB Extreme 510 USB 3.0 External SSD is compatible with systems running Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and Mac OS 10.4+ and does not require a driver for either operating system. Included is a USB 3.0 cable.

Please bear in mind that while this product is water resistant, it must be clean and dry before use.
