The Lightroom CC / 6 and 5: The Fundamentals & Beyond DVD, instructed and created by Laura Shoe, features 15 1/2 hours of training spread across 76 different videos. The MP4 video format is compatible with Mac and PC, as well as iPads and and other mobile devices for convenient viewing anywhere.
In this tutorial series for beginning and intermediate users of Lightroom 5, 6, and Creative Cloud 2015 (the current CC version), Laura guides you through how to organize, manage, fix and enhance, and share your photos with Lightroom's Library, Develop, and Map modules.
The series begins with how Lightroom works with a catalog and non-destructive editing, and then discusses how to organize and back up your photo library. It shows you how to import photos from different sources, manage and find your files, and deal with metadata properly. It even goes through the DNG format and features videos on the Map module and how to geotag images.
The next major portion of training is devoted to the Develop module, where most of the editing takes place. It shows you how to use all of the module's tools and how to make the best decisions about what to use in order to get the most out of your files. The videos also cover batch image processing, presets, and other time savers.
Finally you'll learn how to share copies of your photos by exporting them, emailing directly from Lightroom, and posting to Facebook, Flickr, and other services.
