The combination of FotodioX Pro Metal Hand Grip and SONY TGA-1 is perfect!

Good Addition To The Camera

I have large hands and holding onto the camera, particularly in cold weather, was a challenge. The addition of the grip has improved both the carrying and shooting experience. There is a good surface on which to hold, and during shooting this larger surface helps promote stability to the camera. The only reason for the four stars is the smooth surface of the grip. I had to apply gaffer's tape to the grip to improve the ability to hold onto the camera.

Sony should put in the box with a RX1R II

Absolutely essential. Improves the camera's handling by light years.

This makes my RX1R II no longer awkward to grip!

RX1R II is a great camera, but for the awkward grip that one has to bear. This solves that problem, and makes RX1RII my favourite camera!

Very useful!

Good device but a bit heavy...

Perfect fit.

This grip is lightweight but sturdy and enables me to hold the RX1r2 steadier and even shoot with one hand. I'll never understand why Sony didn't design the camera with a built-in grip, but I'm sure glad Fotodiox came to the rescue.

Secure

Maybe its more because my hands are XL, but this really makes the camera a whole lot easier to hold and just feels more secure. The battery door opens fine on the bottom with this in place. Its still a small form factor, and it can be removed quickly if you want to shrink the size back down to fit in a smaller bag or pocket. The price is reasonable considering how some companies are charging much higher prices for the same type of thing.

Love it, works great.

Asked by: Rudy
Sadly this one is built specifically for the Mark II, the Mark I has a slightly different shape so it wouldn't fit properly.
