The 8TB My Cloud Personal Cloud Storage from WD features a large 8TB storage capacity capable of holding a variety of files from HD video to movies, music, photos, documents and more. The MyCloud Personal Cloud Storage device allows you to store all of your files in a central location and make those files accessible from nearly any web-enabled computer or mobile device.

Stream and share your stored content to PCs and Macs and iOS and Android devices through free desktop and mobile apps. These apps can be configured to back up your favorite content from your device to the My Cloud automatically. With an integrated Gigabit Ethernet port, you benefit from enhanced data transfer speeds while the USB 3.0 port allows for easy expansion by connecting a USB external hard drive. Additionally, it comes DLNA 1.5 and UPnP certified, making it easy to stream content to devices such as TVs, media players, and game consoles.

MyCloud devices do have a Public Share. It cannot be disabled, or deleted. Note that it is only public within your own network.
