First introduced in 1966, this latest iteration of Gerber'sMark II Fixed Blade Knife has a dual-edged partially-serrated spear-tip blade that can be used for a variety of tactical, hunting, and fishing uses. Made of 420 high-carbon stainless steel, the 6.5" blade is treated with a matte black-oxide finish that resists corrosion and reflection. Its die-cast aluminum handle is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, even when wearing gloves, and is equipped with a dual cross-guard and a long pummel that is ideal for lashing to a shaft for use as a spear. The Mark II comes with a nylon sheath with snap-closure straps for the handle and cross guard. MOLLE straps on the back allow it to be attached to a variety of gear, and a removable adjustable strap can be used to lash the knife to a shaft, or restrain it on your leg for additional security.
